Small purchases (almost) in the rain

Even if it's raining again and again in France, we still have the possibility to shop thanks to La Part Dieu, which is a big shopping center with no stores outdoor. ^^ haha. So here is what I brought back with me : four barrettes from H&M (kid department) I can use both in my hair and on my sleeveless T-shirt. haha. ^^

As for Hello Kitty stuffs, I bought a hand towel to dry my bike saddle - because of the rain. And a candy box, that I will use to put random stuffs in.

What's up for you, this week ?

A medieval castle & peacocks...

If today the weather is very well in Lyon, yesterday, it was a beautiful day. Sun, warm temperature... That was the perfect weather to go out, take photos and don't stay indoors. With my boyfriend, we decided to visit a medieval Castle in the village of Septème (near Vienne. Not very far from Lyon.)

Septème is the village that Google map doesn't find. But as it wants to please you and not to look like a cretin because it can't tell you the itinerary to go to Septème, Google map decide that something "castle park" is what you're looking for, even if it's 10 km away from where you want. ^^'

Well, we eventually arrived in Septème. Because Mappy application for Iphone is smarter than Google map. It does find Septème.

We started with a guided visit that lasts about 45 minutes. The women who was our guide told funny anecdotes. Now, I can tell you that cupboards where created by error. And that grandmothers were used to hide chest by seating on it when people for taxes were there. The chest was used to keep salt. ^^

After the guided visit, we could walk in the park, where peacock are living freely. We must be patient to shot them when they are faning their tail. Because it was showing its bottom to the camera and courting trees. ^^' But I did it !

I was even wondering if we had finally adopted this peacock. If you look at the other photos of him on my Flickr (I didn't wanted to flood with peacock photos here haha), you can see on the second and the third shot that the peacock is first showing its profile and then, I've got a full-face photograph. haha.
