Yesterday I discovered this game via my Iphone while my laptop was slowly dying... (he's in dr House's hands tonight to be formated. Pray for him. ^^ )

Social City is a game in which you have to build your own city - this is a kind of Sim City, with really more beautiful design. So you can play via facebook (cf screen shot above), but not only. And that's what is interesting. A free Iphone app lets your manage your city. You can't watch your whole city on your Iphone, nor build new buildings. The app's goal is to collect what your firms are creating and make them create new things, to clean public buildings and to make people move in your city. And the game's goal is very simple : grow your population in order to build more firms so as to make money to buy more public buildings to... grow even more population. ^^


Playdom, editor of the game, proposes other games via facebook (not via Iphone), like Tiki Resort. You have to lay out an isle. But the gameplay isn't very good. And I didn't really find it interesting.
